Investments AI Enablement Lead (AI)

Location: Baltimore, Maryland, United States; hybrid work with up to one day per week from home

Base salary: $111,000–$166,000 per year, depending on location, experience, and skills; discretionary bonus may apply.

What you will do

• Accelerate AI adoption across investment teams through office hours, coaching, structured training, and hands-on support.
• Review and improve AI-assisted workflows, including prompting, workflow design, tool selection, and quality controls.
• Create reusable workflow templates, prompt libraries, playbooks, best practices, and educational materials.
• Refine use cases such as earnings call analysis, meeting synthesis, research summarization, and investment idea generation.
• Advise on conversational AI and agentic workflows, including task design, guardrails, handoffs, and agent onboarding.
• Partner with AI engineers, researchers, product managers, platform teams, and investment professionals to measure adoption and business impact.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in investments, computer science, engineering, data science, economics, business, or another analytical discipline.
• Experience in product management, technology strategy, investor enablement, consulting, workflow transformation, or investment research within investment or financial services environments.
• Typically 2+ years of experience working with investment professionals in asset management, equity or credit research, or adjacent financial services.
• Hands-on experience using multiple AI platforms across professional workflows and a strong understanding of LLMs, generative AI, prompting, and investment-management applications.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, stakeholder-influence, and program-leadership skills.
• FINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or MBA in investments, a technical field, or another quantitative discipline.
• Familiarity with agentic workflows, orchestration, retrieval-augmented generation, and foundation models.
• CFA charter or active CFA candidacy.
