Senior AI Enablement Engineer, People (AI)

Location: New York, New York; based in the New York City Office

Salary: $166,000–$214,000 per year

What you will do

• Drive the People team’s AI transformation roadmap by architecting, building, and maintaining intelligent solutions for operational workflows.
• Build agentic workflows, RAG pipelines, system integrations, and AI-powered internal tools for production use.
• Analyze the Snowflake data model and Workday-to-Snowflake pipeline to ensure AI systems can reliably consume structured and unstructured data.
• Design evaluation frameworks for accuracy, latency, retrieval precision, hallucination rates, and user satisfaction.
• Implement privacy controls, role-based access, PII handling, and audit trails for sensitive people data.
• Partner with People, engineering, data, governance, and security stakeholders to deliver maintainable and responsible AI systems.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional hands-on builder or software engineering experience.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience building production systems with LLMs and AI tooling.
• Experience with agent frameworks, pipelines, retrieval systems, or AI-integrated workflows used by real users.
• Familiarity with LLM observability tools such as LangSmith or Datadog LLM monitoring.
• Experience with vector embeddings, Snowflake data, data retrieval, privacy standards, audit trails, and role-based permissions.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to independently scope, sequence, and deliver work in ambiguous environments.
