Senior Manager - Rights Management

Location: On-site in Los Angeles, CA or New York, NY. Travel to client sites is required as determined by project scope; remote or hybrid work may be permitted for certain projects, but onsite client attendance takes precedence.

What you will do

• Support strategic development of the IP and Rights Management practice, including revenue targets, resource planning, go-to-market strategies, and vendor relationships.
• Lead and mentor Rights practice teams while developing talent and maintaining delivery quality.
• Identify business development opportunities, develop proposal strategies, lead proposals, and grow existing accounts and projects.
• Develop methodologies, templates, and accelerators for the Rights practice.
• Lead complex consulting engagements across multiple projects and resources, translating business challenges into actionable plans.
• Manage executive relationships and make delivery decisions for projects, teams, and clients.

Requirements

• 10+ years of project management and/or leadership experience, including experience with a large consulting company.
• 4–6 years managing process, organization, strategy, SDLC, or implementation-based projects.
• Subject matter expertise in content IP and rights management, particularly in Media & Entertainment and Consumer Packaged Goods.
• Experience with content acquisition and production management, publishing and distribution, licensing, budgeting, forecasting, ultimates, royalties, participations, and revenue recognition.
• Experience with at least two rights management system implementations, such as Rightsline, RSG, Mediamorph, FilmTrack, or Vistex.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, information systems, computer science, business administration, or a related field; Agile or Scrum experience and client-facing team management skills.
