Senior Consultant - Rights Management

Location: New York, NY or Los Angeles, CA; on-site. Travel to client sites is required as determined by project scope, including sites outside the primary office, state, or region. Remote or hybrid work may be permitted for certain projects, but employees must report on-site when required by client needs or management.

Salary: $80,000–$400,000 per year

What you will do

• Guide project teams through project setup, requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Review deliverables, provide feedback, and identify risks and issues with mitigation strategies.
• Lead stakeholder interviews, client workshops, and other client meetings.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Contribute to mentorship, recruitment, strategy, and methodology improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of experience in system implementation, SDLC, integration, and project management.
• 3+ years of consulting or professional services experience, or project management experience in a non-consulting organization.
• Subject matter expertise in content IP and rights management, especially in Media & Entertainment.
• Familiarity with SDLC methodologies covering requirements analysis, development, and delivery.
• Experience with PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, information systems, computer science, business administration, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Experience implementing rights management systems such as Rightsline, RSG, Mediamorph, FilmTrack, or Vistex.
• Experience with rights management in content acquisition, production management, publishing, distribution, or licensing.
• Experience with participations and residuals.
• 1+ year of experience in Media & Entertainment, Broadcast, or Consumer Products.
• Experience at a large consulting firm.
