Location: Bristol, UK. Hybrid working requires attendance in the office or on client site a minimum of 2 days per week, with some assignments requiring up to 5 days per week on client site.

What you will do
- Lead architecture and development teams delivering end-to-end solutions for complex client challenges.
- Shape and launch new service propositions while supporting strategic business growth.
- Lead business development, pre-sales, proposal development, and client engagement activities.
- Advise FTSE 100 clients on complex technology and business challenges.
- Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and translate technical insight into business value.
- Coach team members, share knowledge, and create development opportunities.
Requirements
- Proven experience leading architecture and development teams.
- Strong understanding of the defence sector, with experience in banking, insurance, payments, or wealth management.
- Ability to shape and communicate application, business, and integration architecture strategies.
- Experience building relationships with senior stakeholders and supporting long-term client partnerships.
- Experience contributing to business development, including pre-sales, proposals, and client engagement.
- Familiarity with architecture frameworks and modelling tools such as UML and ArchiMate.
Nice to have
- Experience with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, IBM, Oracle, or Salesforce.
- Experience with microservices, packaged solutions, cloud-native architectures, cloud and on-premise models, agile delivery, digital transformation, or IoT.
