TL;DR
Structural Coordinator/EIT (Structural Engineering): Developing structural engineering design options and recommendations, preparing cost estimates and specifications, and performing routine engineering assignments with an accent on standard structural analysis and design procedures. Focus on supporting small projects independently, assisting senior engineers on larger projects, and working with tools such as AutoCAD, RISA, STAAD, SAP, ETABS, and SAFE.

What you will do

  • Conduct structural analyses and develop design options or recommendations.
  • Assist with cost estimates and specifications for structural engineering projects.
  • Perform routine engineering assignments using standard techniques and procedures.
  • Work independently on small projects and support senior engineers on larger projects.
  • Provide direction to clerical and technical personnel as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and structural engineering software such as AutoCAD, RISA, STAAD, SAP, Tedds, RAM, ETABS, or SAFE.
  • Active participation in an employee-owned, collaborative culture.

Nice to have

  • Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate.
  • Candidates hired without an EIT certificate are expected to obtain it for career progression.
