What you will do

• Lead Mechanical and Aerospace Engineers responsible for simulation, design, and development of new and mature products.
• Coordinate with engineering, product marketing, and industrial design teams to define the scope and contribution of Analytical Engineering.
• Evaluate design directions and balance product performance, quality, and cost.
• Provide technical direction, set priorities, establish deadlines, and support engineers' career development through training and performance reviews.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in structural, dynamic, aerodynamic, acoustic, and vibrational performance simulations and measurements.
• Manage advanced simulation research, new product development support, annual software budgets, licensing, and contract negotiations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related engineering field.
• 8+ years of relevant professional engineering experience.
• At least 2 years of experience managing one or more direct reports.
• Proficiency in Finite Element Analysis or Computational Fluid Dynamics simulation; ANSYS is preferred.
• Proficiency in CAD modeling using NX, SolidWorks, or another commercial CAD tool.
• Experience with MATLAB, Simscape, Simulink, Python, empirical testing, data acquisition, and signal processing.
