Virtual Construction - BIM Coordination & Engineer Senior Associate (BIM)

Location: Atlanta, GA; based at HITT regional offices with regular travel to local job sites

Salary: $73,800–$105,300 per year; compensation may vary by city and state.

What you will do

• Create and manage federated BIM coordination models integrating architectural, structural, MEP, and specialty contractor disciplines.
• Lead clash detection from initial model integration through final resolution and sign-off.
• Guide subcontractors, design teams, trade partners, project managers, and other stakeholders through coordination workflows.
• Develop model-based installation drawings, fabrication data, and coordination strategies aligned with project milestones.
• Execute terrestrial or SLAM laser scanning, integrate reality-capture data, and verify construction progress against models.
• Mentor 1–2 junior Associates and contribute to VDC playbooks, quality standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• 3–6 years of commercial construction experience, including at least 3 years in BIM/VDC.
• Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, Revizto, and commercial-project coordination workflows.
• Experience with terrestrial or SLAM laser scanning and reality-capture integration.
• Understanding of construction documents, shop drawings, and design communication tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with trade partners and design teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI-driven VDC workflows, automation tools, Python, or Dynamo.
• Synchro Pro or CM Builder experience and 4D scheduling experience.
• Adobe Creative Cloud proficiency for visualization and presentations.
• Experience with NVIDIA Omniverse or similar real-time 3D collaboration platforms.
