BIM Detailer, Mechanical and Piping

Location: Remote within the United States; US work authorization required.

Salary: $65,000–$80,000 per year, plus eligibility for bonuses.

What you will do

• Create spool drawings, fabrication packages, and installation details for complex mechanical and plumbing systems.
• Transform coordinated BIM models into accurate, constructable, installer-ready deliverables.
• Coordinate detailing with fabrication and construction schedules across project teams.
• Identify and resolve issues early to reduce rework and coordination problems.
• Support fabrication and field teams with clear deliverables that improve installation and project execution.

Requirements

• Experience producing mechanical and/or plumbing BIM drawings.
• Strong understanding of constructability and installation practices.
• Ability to create clear, detailed fabrication and spool drawings.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-project environment.
• Strong communication skills across office and field teams.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting fabrication workflows or manufacturing environments.
• Interest in automation, AI tools, or digital construction innovation.
