Electronic Technician Maintenance II (CCTV)

Location: North Charleston, South Carolina, United States; 70% travel throughout the United States and internationally; on-site system support required.

What you will do

• Provide preventive and remedial maintenance for IP-based CCTV and video surveillance systems.
• Diagnose and correct electronic equipment malfunctions and failures.
• Perform function tests and system analysis.
• Clean and maintain CCTV system components.
• Provide on-site system training and technical support.
• Update the web-based maintenance management system and track government equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Formal electronics training from a technical school, military electronics or communications school, or a four-year electronics apprenticeship.
• Four years of practical experience in electronics repair, maintenance, and checkout, including one year of electronics installation experience.
• Training must include installation tasks, soldering, cable dressing, cable tray, conduit, and making or repairing connectors.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Must be willing to travel 70% throughout the United States and internationally and pass a background investigation.

Nice to have

• Experience with IP-based CCTV systems.
• OEM factory training from Genetec, Axis, or Cisco Switches.
