Installation Tech -PA Folcroft (Audiovisual)

Location: Folcroft, Pennsylvania, USA. Frequent local travel by car to client job sites is required, typically within a two-hour driving distance; remote travel may account for up to 30% of the role. A valid driver’s license and use of a personal vehicle are required.

Salary: $25.63–$32.64 per hour

What you will do

• Install audiovisual technology including displays, projectors, loudspeakers, microphones, equipment racks, and related components.
• Terminate, test, label, and troubleshoot copper and fiber optic cabling.
• Build and wire custom designs from engineering drawings, cable riser diagrams, and architectural drawings.
• Prepare equipment racks with power strips, grounding bars, jack fields, and wire lacing.
• Coordinate with project managers, site superintendents, clients, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Maintain tools, vehicles, inventories, jobsite organization, safety compliance, timesheets, and work reports.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Two years of experience as an associate technician, fabrication technician, or in a related industry.
• Experience with audio, video, networking equipment, low-voltage electrical concepts, and basic carpentry or installation.
• Proficiency with power tools and the ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical problems.
• Valid driver’s license and compliance with company insurance requirements.
• Good verbal communication, customer service, judgment, and ability to work independently on client sites.

Nice to have

• AVIXA CTS certification.
• OSHA 30 certification, especially NYC OSHA 30.
• Additional certifications relevant to the technology focus.
