(Senior) Fraud Operations Expert (m/f/x)

Location: Berlin, Germany; the role may include on-call coverage during early and late hours and weekends.

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end triage, investigation, and resolution of potential fraud cases flagged in real time.
• Ensure accurate and timely case decisions from initial review through final resolution.
• Identify operational gaps, inefficiencies, and emerging risks, and propose improvements.
• Collaborate with internal teams to strengthen fraud detection and prevention strategies.
• Translate recurring fraud patterns into actionable, data-driven insights.
• Participate in on-call coverage during early and late hours and weekends when required.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in fraud operations within fintech, payments, or a similar environment.
• Strong understanding of fraud typologies and complex pattern analysis.
• High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage a dynamic workload independently.
• SQL skills or experience with another programming language for querying data and analyzing patterns.
• Fluency in German and excellent English, written and spoken, are required.
