Expert, Finance Internal Controls and Process Improvement (m/f/d)

Location: Cologne, Germany. Work from home may be arranged where the role does not require office presence, including up to 20 days per year anywhere in the EU.

What you will do

• Design and implement the Finance internal control framework to support accurate financial reporting and reliable processes.
• Evaluate financial processes and drive standardization, efficiency, accuracy, and transparency improvements.
• Monitor control effectiveness and follow up on internal and external audit findings.
• Work with the ERP team to implement process changes and optimize Finance systems.
• Align process improvement initiatives with stakeholders across departments.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in Finance, Auditing, or Consulting.
• Experience with Finance internal controls and an interest in process design.
• Strong project management and stakeholder collaboration skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to drive initiatives through to completion.
• Proficiency with ERP systems such as Dynamics 365 and AuditBoard.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, international environment.
