Senior Underwriter Financial Lines CEE (w/m/d)

What you will do

• Grow the Financial Lines portfolio across Eastern European markets.
• Underwrite, analyze, and select Eastern European risks across Financial Lines products, excluding M&A.
• Build relationships with brokers, clients, and internal stakeholders across the region.
• Act as the main Financial Lines contact for Eastern European brokers.
• Develop regional underwriting strategies and processes for profitable, sustainable growth.
• Work with actuarial teams, European underwriting managers, and the Head of Financial Lines Europe.

Requirements

• Several years of experience in Financial Lines underwriting and product development in Eastern Europe.
• Existing customer and broker network in Eastern Europe.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in Business Administration, Finance, Law, or a related field.
• Strong negotiation, risk analysis, decision-making, and business development skills.
• Independent, flexible, resilient, ambitious, and able to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
• Fluent written and spoken English required; additional Eastern European languages are advantageous.
