Site Civil Team Lead

Location: Denver, Colorado, with positions also listed in Durango, Grand Junction, and Englewood, Colorado

Salary: $115,000–$140,000 annually

What you will do

• Lead site civil design for facility-related projects from planning through construction administration.
• Develop scopes of work and proposal budgets, participate in interviews, and manage client meetings and correspondence.
• Serve as Engineer of Record on complex projects and guide calculations, plan sets, specifications, details, and cost estimates.
• Coordinate civil engineering work with mechanical, electrical, structural, architectural, and other multidisciplinary teams.
• Manage team workload, project commitments, subconsultant agreements, and operational efficiencies.
• Mentor junior staff, delegate tasks, and support team growth and career development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• At least 7 years of professional experience.
• Experience with land development and building-related site civil design, including grading, utilities, storm drainage, stormwater management, and erosion control.
• Professional registration, license, or certification may be required for the role.
• Strong communication, listening, leadership, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Preference is given to local candidates in the listed Colorado locations.

Nice to have

• Experience in an architectural or engineering firm.
• Previous project management experience.
