Senior Civil Engineer (Team Leader)

Location: On-site in Syracuse, New York, United States

Salary: $130,000 - $170,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead the planning, design, and delivery of multidisciplinary public infrastructure projects.
• Manage and mentor a team of engineers, designers, and technical staff.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with municipal and state clients.
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, staffing, and performance.
• Provide quality assurance and quality control oversight on design deliverables.
• Lead business development efforts, including proposal development and client presentations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• 15+ years of experience in municipal or public infrastructure design and project management.
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in New York State or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Proven experience leading teams and managing public works contracts.
• Strong understanding of AutoDesk Civil 3D and stormwater/water infrastructure design.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and mentoring skills.
