Project Management Consultant

Location: Charlotte, NC, United States; based in Charlotte. No relocation budget available.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end delivery of complex, enterprise-scale business and technology initiatives.
• Develop and manage integrated project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource forecasts.
• Establish governance structures covering risks, issues, decisions, dependencies, and executive reporting.
• Coordinate business, product, and technology stakeholders across cross-functional workstreams.
• Manage scope changes, funding approvals, financial forecasts, and portfolio reporting.
• Facilitate steering committees and status meetings while resolving blockers and maintaining delivery momentum.

Requirements

• 4–8+ years of experience leading enterprise-scale projects or programs in consulting or professional services.
• Experience working within structured PMO and portfolio governance frameworks.
• Expertise in project planning, financial management, risk mitigation, and executive reporting.
• Experience partnering with business, IT, and product stakeholders on technology-enabled initiatives.
• Working knowledge of SDLC methodologies, including Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid models.
• Bachelor’s degree required. PMP or similar certification is preferred.
