Healthcare Technical Director – Epic EHR

Location: Chicago, United States; willingness to travel an average of 50% of the time is required.

Base salary: $150,000–$210,000 annually, plus eligibility for annual incentive compensation. Total estimated compensation including incentive compensation: $195,000–$227,500.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end client engagements from strategy development through technical solution implementation.
• Manage project teams, providing guidance, mentorship, and quality assurance to deliver work on time and within budget.
• Advise C-level executives and senior leaders on Epic EHR systems and complex healthcare digital transformation initiatives.
• Develop EHR management best practices that improve system effectiveness and support regulatory compliance.
• Identify, implement, and measure healthcare process improvement initiatives with consultants and client personnel.
• Design and execute change management plans supporting adoption of new technologies and workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Current Epic certification in a core area of expertise and extensive knowledge of Epic products and solutions.
• More than 10 years of Epic consulting experience in hospitals or healthcare organizations, ideally large health systems.
• Project management experience with Epic implementations.
• Ability to build strategic partnerships with client stakeholders, maintain a professional network, and identify business development opportunities.
• Authorization to work in the United States is required.
