TL;DR
Project Architect, Education Market (Architecture): Developing creative and technically sound building designs and coordinating project documentation for K-12 and higher education environments with an accent on technical development, BIM coordination, and evidence-based design. Focus on leading multidisciplinary collaboration, resolving complex design challenges, integrating QA/QC standards, and delivering coordinated documents within schedule and budget.

Location: Orlando, Florida, United States. Hybrid work model with four days in the office and flexibility to work outside the office on Fridays.

What you will do

  • Develop creative and technically sound architectural solutions for education projects.
  • Coordinate drawings, specifications, and project documentation with the design team, aligning deliverables with design intent and budget.
  • Lead multidisciplinary collaboration and develop technical solutions for complex assignments.
  • Apply QA/QC procedures, practice standards, and BIM standards to project deliverables.
  • Provide technical guidance to less experienced staff and support a collaborative learning environment.
  • Participate in client presentations while meeting project schedules, work plans, and deliverable deadlines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture; a graduate degree is not required unless mandated by local licensure regulations.
  • At least six years of professional architecture experience.
  • Professional architectural licensure required.
  • Proficiency in Revit, Bluebeam, SketchUp, rendering software, Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe Suite.
  • Technical design expertise with strong written and verbal communication, problem-solving, multitasking, and quality-management skills.
  • Current portfolio or work samples in PDF format required for consideration.

  • LEED AP or other professional certifications.
