TL;DR
Associate, Senior Architect (Building Design and Construction Administration): Designing and administering building projects from inception through completion with an accent on integrated architectural, structural, interiors, and MEPFP coordination. Focus on construction administration, project schedules and budgets, permitting, procurement, close-out, and maintaining design quality across complex projects.

Location: Hybrid role based in St. Louis, Missouri, United States

What you will do

  • Research, plan, design, and administer building projects from inception through completion.
  • Develop building and site designs, evaluate materials and building systems, and present design solutions to clients.
  • Coordinate site, interiors, structural, and MEPFP disciplines while overseeing drawings, specifications, reports, cost estimates, and other project documentation.
  • Manage submittals, permitting support, competitive bidding, construction procurement, construction administration, and project close-out.
  • Administer client agreements, establish work plans and staffing needs, and monitor schedules, budgets, milestones, and project scope.
  • Maintain communication across clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams while mentoring assigned staff.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
  • At least 8 years of professional experience and active registration required; NCARB is desired.
  • Broad experience across building types, construction practices, and project delivery methods.
  • Proficient to advanced Revit skills and intermediate to proficient AutoCAD skills.
  • Experience developing specifications in MasterSpec format and writing reports and design-analysis narratives.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, OneDrive, Microsoft Construct/BIM 360, and Teams.

Nice to have

  • Government or healthcare project experience.
  • Bluebeam PDF editing, Enscape or similar 3D modeling software, and federal project experience involving UFGS criteria.
