New Grad Architectural Designer I

Location: San Diego, California, USA; full-time onsite role

What you will do

• Create design and construction models and architectural documentation, including floor and ceiling plans, elevations, sections, and details.
• Produce drawings from architectural markups and review them for compliance with documentation standards.
• Coordinate designs with engineering and construction personnel.
• Assist with field investigations and information gathering.
• Participate in drawing reviews, coordination meetings, and quality checks across multiple projects.

Requirements

• Accredited professional degree in architecture, such as B.Arch, M.Arch, or D.Arch, or a Canadian or international equivalent.
• An applicable associate degree or technical trade school certification may be accepted with at least two years of demonstrated A/E/C firm experience.
• Ability to work under the supervision of the project Architect of Record and collaborate with architectural and engineering staff.
• Willingness to travel moderately for project-based or training activities.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in Revit and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Enscape, Navisworks, or AutoCAD.
• LEED accreditation, WELL certification, or similar sustainability credentials.
