Associate Director, Cloud & Edge Platforms (Azure)

Salary: $146,600–$201,600 annual base salary

What you will do

• Own the cloud and edge platform strategy, roadmap, governance, and modernization alignment for enterprise and manufacturing workloads.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams across cloud architecture, cloud engineering, DevOps, hybrid cloud platforms, and edge operations.
• Oversee cloud deployments, migrations, hybrid integrations, standard build patterns, reference architectures, and Azure deployment models.
• Ensure platforms meet requirements for security, availability, performance, resiliency, recoverability, scalability, and operational supportability.
• Partner with cybersecurity and network services teams on identity, access, segmentation, cloud security, connectivity, routing, and edge networking.
• Lead managers and senior technical leaders while communicating platform health, risks, delivery progress, and modernization outcomes to senior leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 12+ years of experience in cloud, hybrid cloud, or infrastructure platform roles.
• 7+ years of leadership experience managing cloud architecture, cloud engineering, or infrastructure teams, including other people leaders.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Azure, including IaaS, PaaS, networking, identity, and shared services.
• Experience delivering platforms under enterprise architecture, security, and operational governance standards.
• Experience with IT Service Management, ITIL, and outsourced MSP or hybrid delivery environments.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting manufacturing, warehouse, edge-enabled, OT-adjacent, or site-based environments.
• Exposure to infrastructure automation, DevOps, cloud governance frameworks, DNS, DHCP, and IP Address Management.
