Painter

Location: Oregon, Wisconsin, United States; onsite. Work hours are 6:00am–4:30pm Monday–Thursday, with overtime as needed.

What you will do

• Prepare manufactured products and surfaces for painting using abrasives, tape, putty, and other preparation materials.
• Mix paints and additives to prescribed quantities and prepare spray equipment, hoses, guns, and nozzles.
• Apply primer and finish coatings, including paint, enamel, and epoxy, using spray guns and brushes.
• Inspect finished products, test dry film thickness, and maintain required quality standards.
• Clean work areas and equipment, perform preventative maintenance, and replace screens and filters.
• Stage finished products for drying and transfer them to stockroom or shipping areas.

Requirements

• One-year college or technical school certificate, or 3–6 months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination.
• Strong accuracy, precision, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and multitask in a fast-paced production environment.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs regularly and over 100 lbs occasionally.
• Availability for the required Monday–Thursday schedule and overtime as needed.
