Painter - American Augers

Location: West Salem, Ohio, United States; onsite production role

Pay: $20/hour to start and $22/hour after fully trained

Manufactures equipment and parts for American Augers as part of The Toro Company.

What you will do

• Shot blast and paint equipment and parts as part of a production team.
• Set up and adjust painting equipment using wrenches, screwdrivers, and other tools.
• Hang equipment and parts on an overhead chain conveyor using a hoist or manual handling.
• Inspect finish quality and complete sanding and touch-up work as needed.
• Use SAP to check part locations and routing and record inventory transactions.

Requirements

• Must work onsite in West Salem, Ohio.
• Basic mechanical skills and the ability to use repair tools such as wrenches and screwdrivers.
• Ability to use computers, read written instructions, and follow instructions from printed or digital materials.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience or training in automotive, industrial, or aircraft spray painting, or auto body work, preferred.

• Regular schedule from 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday.
• Some overtime may be available on Fridays.
• Pay increases to $22/hour after full training.
