Dir Infrastructure Engineering

Location: Richardson, Texas, United States

Base pay: $133,400–$247,700 per year, plus eligibility for an annual incentive bonus.

What you will do

• Lead the design, delivery, and lifecycle management of infrastructure solutions within a defined technology domain.
• Establish scalable infrastructure patterns and improve operational efficiency.
• Ensure reliable and cost-effective service delivery across infrastructure and operations.
• Align Engineering, Operations, and Service Management priorities.
• Translate business needs into technology solutions and execution roadmaps.
• Provide strategic and people leadership across teams while managing resources, vendors, and delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of Information Technology experience, or 12 years of equivalent experience.
• 4–6 years of Infrastructure and Operations leadership experience.
• Experience in infrastructure engineering, automation, and operations management.
• Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and connect business priorities with technology strategy.
• Experience with resource, vendor, and delivery management.
• Ability to simplify and standardize complex processes.

Nice to have

• Degree in IT, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with cloud, compute, networking, EUC, or distributed systems.
• Experience with infrastructure automation and Infrastructure-as-Code.
• ITIL or a similar framework.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and change management skills.
