Associate Director of IT Operations, Infrastructure Architecture

Location: Troy, New York, United States; onsite, Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.

Salary: $126,300–$241,200 annually

What you will do

• Define, implement, and document IT/OT infrastructure architecture across networking, compute, wireless, and security domains.
• Oversee reliable operation of servers, hardware, communications, desktop support, data centers, network services, telecommunications, and asset management.
• Build scalable and secure wireless networks and maintain data integrity, disaster recovery, and business continuity capabilities.
• Apply NIST CSF, IEC 62443, or ISO 27001 in a regulated environment and maintain compliance with DeltaV/Emerson and Rockwell/Allen-Bradley standards.
• Manage service providers, SLAs, major incident escalations, operational metrics, ITIL practices, and management reporting.
• Lead, mentor, and develop Helpdesk, Desktop, Server, and Network staff, including recruitment, training, evaluations, and goal setting.

Requirements

• BS/BA in Information Technology or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Hands-on experience designing and documenting infrastructure architecture across networking, compute, and security.
• Experience applying security frameworks in regulated environments and working with GxP, FDA, and global regulatory requirements.
• Experience managing diverse technical teams, vendors, and managed service providers.
• Strong Microsoft operating system, Windows Server, GPO, data integrity, business continuity, and disaster recovery experience.
• Senior Manager level requires 8+ years of progressively responsible experience, including 8+ years of management and 3+ years in an FDA or similarly regulated environment; Associate Director level requires 10+ years in each of those experience areas.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of PIC/S, 21 CFR Part 11, Annex 11, and GAMP compliance guidelines.
