Maintenance Technician IV (Manufacturing)

Location: Hillsboro, Oregon, United States. Onsite role on a 12-hour back-half night shift: 5:30 PM–6:00 AM, Wednesday–Friday, with every other Saturday alternating.

What you will do

• Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, calibration, and documentation for production and facilities equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment failures.
• Use diagnostic equipment, schematics, gauges, hand tools, and test equipment to identify root causes.
• Identify recurring failure patterns and improve preventive-maintenance procedures and equipment reliability.
• Support manufacturing-process improvements, capital projects, engineering projects, and minor building infrastructure installation.
• Maintain safe working conditions and resolve safety issues involving factory equipment and building maintenance.

Requirements

• 5+ years of direct equipment-maintenance experience or equivalent proven experience.
• High school diploma required; an associate or technical degree is preferred.
• Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings and schematics.
• Ability to work a 12-hour shift on your feet and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, troubleshooting, project-management, and communication skills.
• Ability to follow department safety procedures and promote safe working conditions.

Nice to have

• Experience diagnosing hydraulic systems.
• High- and low-voltage electrical experience, including 12V, 24V, 120V, and 480V systems.
• Experience troubleshooting pneumatic systems, including Parker and SMC systems.
• Experience training junior maintenance personnel.
