Manager, Provider Data Management (Healthcare)

Location: Remote in Illinois, United States; Central Time (CST) working hours; 10% travel required.

Salary: $70,100–$126,200 per year.

What you will do

• Lead provider data management projects, policies, procedures, contract setup, directory accuracy, and claims-adjudication initiatives.
• Manage inventory, production, quality, employee development, performance reviews, and staff activity.
• Partner with internal departments and Information Systems on business application, provider, contract, and claims projects.
• Develop workflows, protocols, cost-benefit analyses, data analysis programs, and strategic and operational reports.
• Maintain provider data integrity guidelines for delegated credentialing vendors and resolve contract and policy interpretation issues.
• Lead meetings and training for internal and external departments on provider data services policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, healthcare, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of management experience in a business setting.
• At least 3 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in provider relations, provider data services, information technology, or claims operations.
• Experience developing business processes and procedures.
• Strong leadership experience with direct reports and proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Visio, and Word.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Experience with Portico, Amisys, Directory, and other provider-related systems.
• Strong communication and meeting facilitation skills.
