Material Planning Coordinator

Location: Seesen, Germany; onsite position

Company

Manufacturing organization operating production equipment and coordinating materials, shipments, suppliers, and customer orders.

What you will do

• Develop production schedules that meet finished-goods requirements while minimizing changeovers, downtime, and inventory.
• Plan, schedule, and procure materials; review schedule changes, expedite supplier deliveries, and generate production work orders.
• Schedule freight for finished-goods shipments and coordinate customer-order priorities with the Division Sales team.
• Monitor raw-material and finished-goods inventory, determine safety-stock strategies, and support the removal of obsolete inventory.
• Use data and ERP planning systems to monitor performance, maintain accurate reporting, and reduce negative variances.
• Support new-material and process trials, planning automation projects, and the resolution of customer quality and service issues.

Requirements

• At least three years of production scheduling experience preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills, including lookups and pivot tables.
• Experience with Oracle and APS is highly preferred.
• Background in process improvement is a plus.
• Ability to work onsite in Seesen, Germany.
