Transportation Municipal Section Manager

What you will do

• Lead municipal transportation roadway design activities and support project management.
• Develop designs for streets, arterial roadways, intersections, traffic management, and transportation planning.
• Prepare concept alignments, geometric layouts, and CAD base alignment plans.
• Use MicroStation, InRoads, GEOPAK, OpenRoads Designer, or comparable CAD design software.
• Manage multiple assignments while providing leadership, organization, and clear communication.
• Participate in professional and industry associations to strengthen technical expertise and hirify.global’s brand.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• At least 10 years of transportation roadway design experience.
• Professional Engineer registration is required; candidates registered in another state must obtain Texas reciprocity within 6 months.
• Experience with street and arterial roadway design, intersection design, traffic management, transportation planning, site planning, alignments, geometric layouts, and CAD plans.
• Strong communication and listening skills, with the ability to handle multiple assignments.
• Good leadership and organizational skills, plus active participation in an employee-owned culture.

Nice to have

• PMP certification.
• Local Government Project Procedures certification.
• Microsoft Office knowledge.
