Salary: $149,671.54–$171,053.19 per year

What you will do

• Develop and refine 3D models, alignments, profiles, corridors, and cross-sections in Bentley OpenRoads.
• Prepare drawings, plans, and technical specifications for roadway, highway, and transit infrastructure.
• Coordinate design elements with engineers, architects, and project managers.
• Conduct design reviews, constructability assessments, and quality control checks.
• Support project reports, presentations, client communications, schedules, budgets, and quality objectives.
• Mentor junior engineers and stay current with OpenRoads software advancements and industry practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field.
• New York P.E. license or the ability to obtain a New York license within six months of hire.
• Proficiency with Bentley OpenRoads Designer.
• 5–15 years of transportation engineering experience focused on roadway design, alignment optimization, and geometric design.
• Knowledge of NYSDOT, NYTA, and AASHTO design standards and guidelines.
• Technical proficiency in MicroStation, AutoCAD/Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office, with strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
