Automotive Service Estimator (Automotive)

Location: Onsite at 2190 Church Road, Arnold, Missouri, United States 63010. Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.; weekends closed.

Salary: Up to $75,000 annually, inclusive of bonus, for highly qualified candidates. Additional team performance bonuses may be available.

What you will do

• Review technician digital vehicle inspections and build detailed repair orders with accurate parts and labor components.
• Coordinate with technicians to confirm labor times, parts, and repair procedures for each ticket.
• Manage quick-service tickets, waiting customers, phone quotes, customer inquiries, and repair estimates.
• Present repair solutions clearly and ensure work meets specifications and promised timelines.
• Manage parts ordering, inventory, pricing, returns, warranty claims, and reconciliations.
• Maintain repair logs, coordinate equipment maintenance, prioritize technician workloads, and work with vendors.

Requirements

• Strong automotive industry knowledge and experience building complex repair tickets.
• Experience estimating repairs involving third-party warranties and navigating the warranty process.
• Experience with parts ordering, returns, inventory, pricing, and reconciliation.
• Clear communication, strong organization, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
• Proficiency with Windows-based software and automotive store applications.
• Ability to work onsite Monday–Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., remain on your feet most of the day, occasionally lift more than 50 pounds, and maintain a brisk pace in a high-volume environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with TekMetric software.
• Previous experience as an automotive sales representative, service advisor, service writer, estimator, or dispatcher.
