2027 Capital Markets Analyst (Investment Banking)

Location: New York, NY; primary program locations also include Columbus, OH, and Charlotte, NC. Workplace type: Office.

Salary: $95,000 annual base compensation, plus eligibility for applicable incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Support new business development, pitch strategy, transaction structuring, and execution.
• Prepare financial analyses, market research, transaction comparables, financial models, pitch books, offering memoranda, term sheets, lender presentations, and syndication opinions.
• Support transactions from early client discussions and marketing through execution and closing.
• Complete deal closing checklists and maintain accurate transaction reporting.
• Participate in meetings with current and prospective clients and assist with business development.
• Prepare quarterly management reports and assess credit and transaction risks against the bank's risk profile.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• 0–1+ years of direct experience in investment banking or corporate finance.
• FINRA Series 79, Series 63, or another necessary combination, or the ability to obtain the required qualification within 120 days of hire.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and intellectual curiosity.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and aggressive timelines in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be currently authorized to work full-time in the United States.
