Senior Commercial Underwriter (Automotive)

Location: Plano, Texas, United States. Candidates must already have the right to work in the United States and must not require employment-based visa or work authorization sponsorship.

hirify.global Financial Services provides finance and insurance solutions for hirify.global and Lexus in North America, supporting dealer lending and customer experiences.

What you will do

• Underwrite complex credit packages for hirify.global, Lexus, and Mazda dealers, including facilities ranging from $1 million to $500 million.
• Analyze financial statements, tax returns, bank statements, trial balances, liquidity, leverage, capitalization, and cash flow.
• Assess credit risk, collateral, guarantees, ownership structures, and documentation for dealer lending requests.
• Present conclusions and recommendations to credit approval authorities and collaborate with Legal on required document or approval changes.
• Lead internal projects, Kaizen efforts, peer reviews, and process and system improvements.
• Mentor junior analysts and provide guidance on complex credit analyses and risk assessments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in commercial loan underwriting and financial analysis.
• Experience with complex organizational structures, cash flow analysis, financial ratios, covenants, and loan collateralization.
• Experience presenting complex financial information and credit structures to approval authorities.
• Experience identifying credit and operational risks and recommending mitigation measures.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Nice to have

• Proficiency with Crowe Navigator or a similar financial analysis program.
• Experience underwriting automotive dealer borrowers.
