Financial Analyst - East Real Estate Operations

Location: Bethesda, MD, USA; in-office 5 days a week

Salary: $75,000–$85,000 yearly plus a 10% annual target bonus

What you will do

• Provide financial reporting and actionable analysis for business groups across the organization.
• Contribute to annual budgeting and monthly forecasting, including projection analysis, data loading, and documentation of assumptions.
• Build financial models to support strategic decision-making and scenario analysis.
• Perform monthly and quarterly variance analysis against budgets and forecasts.
• Prepare monthly senior management reporting and quarterly reporting for the board and shareholders.
• Support accounting, financial reporting, quarterly earnings releases, and regulatory filings.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of financial analysis experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or another analytical discipline.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills, including multi-year forecasting.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical problem-solving ability, and a collaborative approach.
• Financial writing and experience presenting to senior leaders are highly desirable.

Nice to have

• Experience with Hyperion PBCS, VBA, SQL, or Power BI.
