TL;DR
Senior Financial Analyst (FP&A/Financial Modeling): Developing financial models, forecasts, budgets, dashboards, and management reports to support business decisions across UniGroup's transportation operations with an accent on performance analysis, reporting accuracy, and financial planning. Focus on consolidating multi-entity financial results, automating reporting solutions, evaluating business initiatives, and presenting actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
Location: Remote within the United States, with preference for candidates in the St. Louis area. Occasional on-site attendance in Des Peres, Missouri may be required for projects, meetings, training, special events, or other business needs.

What you will do
- Develop and maintain financial models, budgets, forecasts, and long-range planning tools.
- Analyze financial and operational performance, trends, variances, risks, and opportunities.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc management reporting packages.
- Partner with leaders, accounting, and operations on budgeting, forecasting, projections, and business decisions.
- Build dashboards, reporting tools, and automated solutions to improve financial visibility and data quality.
- Support close activities, multi-entity consolidations, audits, system implementations, and strategic initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Five or more years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, corporate finance, or a related role.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, management reporting, and variance analysis.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Must be legally authorized to work permanently in the United States; visa sponsorship and employment authorization support are not available.
Nice to have
- CPA, CMA, MBA, or another relevant professional certification.
- Experience with Planful, Power BI, BlackLine, Microsoft 365, or similar platforms.
- Experience with multi-entity reporting, consolidations, dashboards, automation, or data analytics projects.
