Financial Analyst – Financial Monitoring & Analysis

Location: Hybrid Flex in Durham, United States; at least two office days per week. Candidates outside the local area may be considered, with onsite expectations discussed during the interview process.

Salary: $73,698–$117,917 annually, plus annual incentive bonus and benefits.

What you will do

• Prepare accurate and timely monthly financial reporting for portfolio companies and stakeholders.
• Analyze actual results against budgets, forecasts, and prior periods, identifying revenue and expense drivers.
• Build profitability analyses, unit economics, scenario models, and business cases for ad hoc questions.
• Support annual budgeting, planning, and periodic reforecasting in coordination with Enterprise FP&A.
• Collaborate with CuraCor and hirify.global Finance partners during close, forecast cycles, and leadership requests.
• Maintain and improve reporting templates and financial models while following internal controls and policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, financial reporting, or corporate FP&A.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Ability to explain financial results to non-finance partners and communicate professionally with senior executives.
• Ability to manage recurring monthly deadlines and short-turnaround analytical requests.
• Ability to work in the Durham hybrid-flex arrangement, including at least two office days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience with financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, lookups, formulas, and data analysis features.
• Experience with or interest in using AI to improve efficiency and generate insights.
• Exposure to healthcare business drivers and metrics.
• Experience with Power Query or Power Pivot.
