Operations Analyst (Financial Operations)

Location: Irvine, CA, USA; in-office 5 days a week

Salary: USD 75,000–90,000 yearly; the additional compensation description states USD 75,000–85,000 plus a 10% annual target bonus.

What you will do

• Provide reporting and actionable insights to business groups across the organization.
• Analyze financial performance, build scenarios, and support strategic decision-making through data modeling.
• Contribute to annual budgeting and monthly forecasting by collecting projections and documenting assumptions.
• Perform monthly and quarterly variance analysis against budgets and forecasts.
• Prepare monthly senior management reporting and support quarterly earnings releases and regulatory filings.
• Prepare quarterly reporting for the board of directors and shareholders.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in financial analysis preferred.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills, including multi-year forecasting.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or another analytical discipline.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical problem-solving ability, and a collaborative, self-starting approach.
• Ability to diagnose complex situations and help implement solutions.
• Ability to work in the Irvine regional office 5 days a week.

Nice to have

• Strong financial writing skills and experience presenting to senior leaders.
• Experience with Hyperion PBCS, VBA, SQL, or Power BI.
