Maintenance Technician IV - Front Half Night Shift

What you will do

• Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, calibration, and documentation for production and facilities equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment and diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic failures.
• Use schematics, diagnostic equipment, gauges, hand tools, and test equipment to identify root causes and restore equipment performance.
• Develop or improve preventive-maintenance procedures to reduce recurring equipment failures.
• Support capital, engineering, manufacturing-process, and minor building-infrastructure projects.
• Maintain safe working conditions and resolve safety issues involving factory equipment and facilities.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of direct equipment-maintenance experience or equivalent experience with exceptional results.
• High school diploma required; an associate or technical degree is preferred.
• Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings and schematics.
• Strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a methodical approach to troubleshooting and project management.
• Ability to work a 12-hour shift on your feet and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work onsite in Hillsboro, Oregon, from 5:30 PM to 6:00 AM Sunday through Tuesday, with every other Saturday alternating.

Nice to have

• Experience diagnosing hydraulic systems and troubleshooting pneumatic systems, including Parker and SMC systems.
• Electrical experience with 12V, 24V, 120V, and 480V high- and low-voltage systems.
• Previous experience training junior maintenance employees.
