Maintenance Technician

Location: Onsite at the hirify.global campus in Okahumpka, Florida, USA

What you will do

• Perform and accurately record scheduled preventive maintenance on hoists, paint systems, machining centers, weld systems, and other production equipment.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment across multiple maintenance systems.
• Become a subject matter expert in one or two specific maintenance systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and use the Thrive maintenance data system.
• Collaborate with mentors, mentees, peers, internal customers, suppliers, and vendors while supporting production team needs.
• Follow safety protocols as an Authorized Lockout/Tagout Team Member and, when applicable, an Electrically Qualified Team Member.

Requirements

• Two years of equipment maintenance experience at hirify.global, or an associate’s degree in basic trades plus one year of similar experience, or three years of similar equipment maintenance experience elsewhere.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools, use voltmeters, read blueprints and electrical schematics, write interdepartmental communications, and apply basic mathematics.
• Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication with mentors, mentees, peers, internal customers, suppliers, and vendors.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills.
• Successful operation of Thrive, Lockout/Tagout authorization, and Electrically Qualified Team Member certification.
