Maintenance Technician II 2nd Shift (Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite in Delavan, Wisconsin, United States. Second shift: 3:00 p.m.–11:30 p.m., Monday–Friday.

Hourly pay: $27.00–$30.00 per hour, depending on experience. A $1,000 hiring bonus is paid in two installments after 90 days and six months of employment.

What you will do

• Install, inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment.
• Complete preventive maintenance on CNC machines, injection molding machines, custom pump systems, and electrical test stands.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing, and carpentry issues with limited supervision.
• Manage spare-parts inventory, source components, and document maintenance activities and repairs.
• Participate in LEAN improvement activities, including Kaizens, RCCM, 5-Whys, and A3s, to reduce downtime and costs.
• Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies and assist with training junior technicians.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent plus three or more years of technical training or job-related experience.
• Competence in preventive maintenance, failure troubleshooting, and effective repairs.
• Mechanical aptitude with knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems and the ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools and, when required, vehicles.
• Full ability to read and communicate in English.
• Ability to work overtime and meet physical requirements, including standing, walking, climbing ladders, working in confined spaces, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
