Desktop Support Technician

Location: Anderson, SC; onsite Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

What you will do

• Configure, deploy, image, upgrade, and maintain laptops and other hardware for new and existing employees.
• Install and configure desktop software and operating systems, including necessary Windows updates.
• Provide hardware and software troubleshooting and administer DUO resets and phone-switching requests.
• Provide encryption keys and manage endpoint support requirements.
• Manage the Desktop Support incident queue in ServiceNow, including ticket resolution, assignment, status updates, and documentation.
• Support equipment purchasing, asset management, and computer-supply inventory.

Requirements

• Associate degree in a related field or equivalent years of field experience.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience.
• A+ Certification is preferred.
• Knowledge of the specific systems and technologies required for desktop support.
• Ability to sit for prolonged periods while working at a computer.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and push a cart containing equipment.
