PC Support Technician

Location: Leavenworth, Kansas, USA; non-remote. Relocation incentive available.

What you will do

• Provide help desk and desktop support, diagnose technical issues, and implement resolutions or workarounds.
• Install, configure, troubleshoot, maintain, and relocate computers, laptops, printers, mobile devices, peripherals, and related software.
• Image and deploy workstations, install software, apply upgrades and patches, and configure operating systems.
• Resolve network connectivity, cabling, adapter, and interface issues.
• Manage service tickets, user accounts, system access, IT asset inventories, and configuration documentation.
• Coordinate with the Network Enterprise Center and other IT organizations, including on-call support for maintenance and mission-critical incidents.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship and an active DoW Secret Clearance.
• IAT Level II certification or higher, such as CompTIA Security+ CE, CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, or an equivalent certification.
• At least two years of experience in PC support, help desk, desktop support, or a related IT support role.
• Experience supporting PC, workstation, and server hardware and software, including Windows workstation administration.
• Experience troubleshooting network connectivity, cabling, and network interfaces.
• Current certification in Microsoft Windows 10/11, Microsoft Server 2016/2019, or Microsoft Modern Desktop Administrator.

Nice to have

• Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience in a Department of Defense environment or supporting mission-critical systems and VIP end users.
• Strong communication, organizational, troubleshooting, prioritization, and interpersonal skills.
