Fabrication Technician (Nigh Shift)

Location: Alexandria, Minnesota, USA; onsite

Base hourly pay: $20.00–$27.00 per hour

What you will do

• Operate saws, drill presses, press brakes, laser or waterjet equipment, and other fabrication tools.
• Fabricate sheet metal parts, including calculating bend allowances, cut sizes, and hole locations.
• Weld, machine, assemble, and maintain parts and equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints and select the proper tooling for each job.
• Produce parts that meet BEC standards within acceptable timeframes.
• Maintain quality standards and complete additional tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Experience or capability in saw operation, deburring, drilling, tapping, drill press operation, and sheet metal fabrication.
• Working knowledge of laser and waterjet processes, press brake operation, welding, machining, assembly, and machine maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Ability to obtain forklift and crane certification.
• Good communication skills and a collaborative team-oriented approach.
