Fabrication Machine Operator (Laser) (2nd Shift)

Location: Fontana, California, United States; onsite production-floor role on the 2nd shift

What you will do

• Operate press brakes, punch presses, CNC lasers, and other machinery to manufacture parts from sheet metal and metal plates.
• Prepare machine programs, set up equipment, and adjust operating parameters according to product plans and production schedules.
• Measure and align materials, maintain sufficient raw-material supplies, and inspect finished parts against quality standards.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and keep the production work area clean.
• Follow production-floor safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience operating press brakes, punch presses, or laser machinery.
• Ability to safely operate or learn machining controls and follow instructions.
• Ability to read, interpret, and follow blueprints, drawings, and product plans.
• Basic computer and math skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and push, pull, lift, and carry materials weighing up to 35 pounds.
