Analyst, Transmission

Location: Westwood, Massachusetts, United States; hybrid schedule with at least three days in the office, including Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Employees must be able to work up to five days in the office when required.

Annual salary: $89,480–$99,420, plus potential incentive.

What you will do

• Support development of the Transmission Capital Budget and Long-Range Plan.
• Work with project management, investment planning, system planning engineering, and asset management to analyze project scopes, schedules, forecasts, and budgets.
• Build and maintain performance reporting processes, dashboards, tools, lists, and metrics.
• Collect, validate, organize, and improve data from multiple sources and databases.
• Prepare regulatory filings, reports, presentations, and ad hoc analyses for business improvement and decision-making.
• Document metrics, processes, and reporting tools to support cross-training and business continuity.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Data Analytics, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Three to five years of related experience, including data handling or business process and performance analysis.
• Experience designing, building, analyzing, and interpreting data models, relational tables, databases, and data warehouse information.
• Expert or advanced skills in Excel, Access, Tableau, Power BI, reporting tools, and PowerPoint charts.
• Strong analytical, mathematical, communication, interpersonal, and data-quality skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Valid motor vehicle license; applicants requiring immigration-related sponsorship will not be considered.

Nice to have

• Advanced reporting and database skills with the aptitude to become an expert in the required tools.
• Ability to use AI tools and chatbots to enhance data analysis and reporting work.
