Business Analyst (Energy Infrastructure)

What you will do

• Partner with senior leadership and project teams on land, right-of-way, and energy infrastructure projects.
• Support project setup, data imports and exports, system integrations, milestone tracking, and accurate data flow.
• Gather and document business requirements through interviews, workshops, and surveys.
• Translate operational needs into functional and non-functional requirements, use cases, user stories, process flows, and system specifications.
• Analyze processes and systems, recommend improvements and automation opportunities, and support change management.
• Develop test plans and cases, support user acceptance testing, and track requirements, issues, risks, and delivery traceability.

Requirements

• Experience with data-heavy systems or project management platforms, preferably in energy, utilities, or infrastructure.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and Power Query; VBA is a plus.
• Experience supporting end users or clients in a technical or operational capacity.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree, or equivalent professional experience in data analysis, reporting, and analytical problem-solving.
• Experience writing SOPs, training materials, or technical documentation.

Nice to have

• Experience with OneVizion, ROW management systems, land systems, or similar energy-industry platforms.
• Familiarity with land acquisition, right-of-way, title, or permitting workflows.
• Exposure to data visualization tools, reporting dashboards, or system integrations.
• Experience working with project managers, ROW agents, or operations teams.
