EI&C Designer IV (Oil & Gas)

Location: Atlanta, Georgia, or any hirify.global office in the US

Salary: USD $43.47–$50.00 per hour

What you will do

• Lead electrical and instrumentation design and drafting for oil and gas facilities using AutoCAD.
• Develop technical drawings, schematics, specifications, instrument plans, circuit schedules, and instrument loop drawings.
• Design power distribution, lighting, motor control, communications, heat tracing, and grounding systems.
• Perform calculations and analysis, including conduit and cable or wiring sizing, to support safe and compliant designs.
• Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and technical personnel to meet project specifications, timelines, and budgets.
• Conduct field inspections and support construction and commissioning activities while mentoring junior designers.

Requirements

• Two-year associate degree.
• At least 3 years of experience using AutoCAD for electrical and instrumentation design.
• Experience preparing drawings and documentation for oil and gas facilities.
• Expertise in relevant oil and gas codes, standards, and regulations.
• Advanced ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.
