Senior Claims Representative Bodily Injury-Remote

Location: Fully remote from the USA; applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.

Salary: $75,000–$82,000 per year

What you will do

• Manage a portfolio of bodily injury claims and evaluate compensability and liability.
• Investigate claims to confirm coverage and assess liability, compensability, and damages.
• Determine and negotiate settlements and reserves within assigned authority.
• Authorize timely payments and communicate coverage and settlement information to insureds, claimants, and external partners.
• Maintain accurate claim files, including correspondence, reports, and settlement agreements.
• Attend arbitrations, mediations, depositions, or trials when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Risk Management and Insurance, Finance, a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of experience handling property and casualty claims.
• Knowledge of insurance policies, coverage, claims procedures, industry laws, and regulations.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, problem-solving, organization, and prioritization skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to build relationships and lead negotiations.
• U.S. work authorization required; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Completion of or progress toward a professional designation such as Associate in Claims (AIC).
