Commercial Casualty Senior Claims Examiner (Trucking)

Location: Richardson, Texas, United States; in-office position with potential for a hybrid work arrangement

Salary: $98,913–$120,950 annually, commensurate with experience and location

What you will do

• Handle commercial short-haul and long-haul trucking claims involving unrepresented individuals, pre-suit files, and litigation files.
• Investigate serious-injury claims to determine coverage and liability.
• Evaluate, negotiate, and settle claims for damages.
• Manage a pending diary of claims through settlement and resolution.
• Support insureds involved as defendants in lawsuits, guide them through litigation, and provide direction to defense counsel.
• Attend training sessions, trials, and other litigation events; present files to senior leadership.

Requirements

• 3+ years of commercial litigation claims-handling experience.
• Ability to provide high-quality customer service and actively listen to customer needs.
• Strong negotiation, multitasking, attention-to-detail, and presentation skills.
• Ability to meet corporate attendance standards for the Richardson office arrangement.
• Ability to attain and maintain licenses issued by state insurance departments.
